Party-Part 2

So today is my birthday! And the picture below was my birthday card Alison made me and had the office signed. It is just my head, not my body. I do not have a cake costume. And I received some beautiful flowers from a vendor and Ryan.

Birthday Party-Part 1

So last night after work a few of us from my work went to out do a little early celebration of my birthday and my co-worker's Gina B-Day. We went to the Yard House at Fashion Island. It was so much fun to relax, eat, and "gossip":) Ok just kidding about the gossip, ok we did a little. It is work folks, what do you expect. We had so much food. It was happy hour, so of course we went crazy on the half off apetizers! And afterwards I went shopping..can;t go to Fashion Island without buying something.

You may ask why my honey is no where to be seen in these pics? Well he is in Japan! Yes, it is no birthday if he is not out of town:) But he sent me a gift last week and sent me flowers this morning. And he was the first to wish me Happy Birthday since in Japan they are a day ahead. Works out great.

Getting in the Holiday Spirit

You got love this time of year. So I really got in the holiday decorating fezny this year. I spend most of my days at work so I decided to go all out and decorate my office. Sometimes work is really stressful, so I figured a little holiday cheer would make it more enjoyable. Every morning I come to work to enjoy the festive red and green decor. And it has helped at times. This is just me at the happiest place on earth-- Fashion Island.

And this was the first tree I bought, I thought it would be cute to have a pink tree. But it was a bit much and really did not feel Christmas. So I returned it for the tree above.

St.Regis

I am a few weeks late posting this. For our 1 year anniversary on Nov. 10 we headed to Dana Point for a few days to get away. Even though we were still in OC, it really felt like a getaway since the place was beautiful. I really should have taken more pictures. The resort was really empty, I kept referring to the feeling of living in a big mansion alone. (not that fun)

It was a lot f fun just relaxing and taking in the view. The drive there was my favorite part. Afterwards we just hung out in Laguna.

November 8, 2008

Saturday, Ryan and I were sealed in the Newport Beach Temple. It was a wonderful day. The weather was perfect. I could not have asked for better weather, (warm, sunny, no wind). We are truly blessed for everything we have. Our close friends and family were there and it was a great day, actually weekend!

I will upload more pictures soon, work is super busy after being gone for a few days.

Flashback

So many of us at work are still mourning after yesterday's election. The only good that occured was that Prop 8 passed! We all work very hard and to have my hard earned money be "distributed" to others is a little difficult for me grasp. I want the decision if I want to help others and who to help. His take on middle class keeps changing every 5 minutes! What happened to the American Dream?

Now we should all pray for our country!

Enough with politics on to other things.......

Please Vote!

Today could be the biggest voting day. Ryan and I stood in a long line at 7AM in the rain to vote (ok. it just sprinkled for 5 mins). We wanted to get it done early before work so it would not stress us later. It is still not too late to vote, polls close at 8PM and we are praying that Prop 8 wins!

Trunk a Treat

This past weekend we took our friends kids to trunk a treat at the church. These are the same kids I "borrow" all the time. They are such cutie pies! They had a blast. They had a lot of fun.

Grandma Halversen's B Day

In August, we went to Utah to celebrate Ryan's grandma's 95th birthday. Almost the entire family were there and it was fun meeting new people. She was surprise since it was a surprise birthday party. We had a great time.

Aloha

Day 1 of our Oahu get away. We decided to go on a mini vacation to unwind and relax. Here are some pictures of our adventures. We went to get shaved ice and drove around the island. We stopped at Kualoa Ranch and took a tour. This is where a lot of movies were filmed. The pictures are not in the order it happened. Enjoy!
