My Boss...

Ok, while I have the liberty of the "pen" so to speak with the blog, I just want to send a shout out to my boss Jeff who officially is "sworn in" as partner on Wednesday July 1, 2009. Well-overdue in my humble opinion, but congratulations to him for achieving this huge milestone after 14 successful years at the firm. He is currently in Korea on another project, and thanks to him for understanding that I rarely get to see my family and allowing me to "disappear" this week. I'm grateful for all he's taught me over the years and am very happy for him and his family at this time. A couple of pics for old-time sakes, back when I had hair and Jeff rolled Pat Riley style (good old memories):

Day 3

This is Ryan writing; I'm giving Roz a break from the blog for the vacation and I've taken over even though I have no idea what I'm doing...:) Awesome day at Park City Resort. Everyone had a blast; ton to do between alpine slide, alpine coaster, zip line, etc....

Roz & D-Squared (as we call him); he is the cutest little guy ever and loves Aunt Roz to carry him around, mainly cause he loves Aunt Roz, since as you can tell, he's a little too big to be carried otherwise. I want Roz to save her back for our own little guys when they arrive:)

All the family with our family shirts on. Roz & Alimosa designed the logo with a cool "H" for Halversen in the middle of a Sun, the sun reflecting a little New Testament religious symbology from the Apostle Paul, but I'll digress for the sake of the blog...:)
The kids hottubbing at the cabin with Uncle Chris. This is actually the view outside of Roz and my bedroom; it's a tough life, I know.

Park City ski runs in the background with a short portion of the Alpine Coaster track in the foreground.

More to come later....please bear with my ameteur blog-postings/writings...

Day 2

The nieces and nephews at the cabin with Park City in the back.
Above and below are the cousins that are best friends. There's another set that are best friends but I haven't taken the picture yet. They are the cutest of course...:)

Us at the cabin. Park City in the winter is nice, but Park City and Utah in general in the summer is incredible. Tons of fun events set up for the week with the family and we're really excited.

Vacation - Day 1

Today's was our first day of vacation. We'll arrive in Park City tomorrow, but stayed in Salt Lake last night and took beautiful drives up the Wasatch Front. This picture is the gorgeous backdrop behind Draper, a 80 degree summer day with snow-capped mountains.

Beautiful homes in Draper. The neighborhoods we were driving through had amazing customized homes.
The Draper temple is beautiful and nestled into the nice neighborhoods at the foothills of the mountains.

Other nice backdrops of Draper. Tomorrow will start the pictures of the family and pictures in Park City and Salt Lake City. We just want Mom and Dad Hour and Dennis to know how much we love them in Cali while we're on this trip.
