Valentine's Day Weekend

It was a great weekend. We started off by celebrating V-Day Friday night to beat the rush and also our Saturday was way too busy. We had stake conference and Ryan was getting ready for his trip to China.

Although it was raining Friday, it was a lovely evening. We went to Dukes in HB which was so good. The fish there is amazing since it is not the plain old butter and lemon, they make it so good with Hawaiian flavors. And we topped it off with chocolate molten cake. As you know we order that anywhere we go.

It was the best Valentine's Day ever. This was the first one we celebrated together since the other years he is always out of town. So it was special.

After dinner, we are stuffed. Oh and that is the new shirt I bought after my crazy week to make me feel better.

Finally

Finally the week came to an end. It was the crapiest week ever. So after yesterday venting about people who are ungrateful, more acts of rudeness occured. A simple "THANK YOU" would be nice. A freaking, "we appreciate what you did". I am not looking for a huge award, just a kind polite gesture back. Many of them voted for Obama so maybe that explains it. (yeah, I made a witchy comment, bring it on)

At least tonight Ryan and I are going out to celebrate Valentine's Day. I even bought a new shirt to make me feel better. And yes, shopping does make me feel better.

Mini Vent

This is my blog so I am going to vent for a few seconds so I can let it out. One thing I can't stand is ungrateful people. There are people who take the time out of their busy freaking schedule to do service, volunteer, or just to help. You would think the other person on the other side would appreciate it????? NOPE. Not a single flippin ounce of "thank you" or "I appreciate you coming"...

All I have to say, is, what goes around comes around 10 times worse so be prepared for the wrath of karma! It willl sting like no other.

Mondays

Mondays are not always easy with crazy projects that are due, unfinsihed deadlines from Fridays, and the random last minute nonsense. But after a long day cranking at the office, I get to enjoy a full 2 hour episode of "The Bachelor". It is a guilty pleasure, yes the woman are bit loopy, but that is what makes it good TV.

So this is what makes my crazy Mondays a lot easier to handle.

Taco Tuesday

So its been awhile since I have last made a post. Maybe I am still depressed over the inaguration, hahah, just kidding, please do not send me emails on how great Obama is and the hope he will give us. Spare me! :)

Early January

Pictures from early January.... I am kinda late but I have been really busy with work so really had no time to post or even take pictures. I would post about work, but how fun would that be and how dangerous would that be:) I will try to do more fun things and take more pics. The weather in Cali has been great, so I have no excuse.

Jensens, Lombardis, and us had a date night at the District. Good food and good company makes for a wonderful Friday.
Ryan and I went to the Crepe place in Long Beach on New Year's Day. This was our dessert. If you have not been there, check it out, it is on 2nd Street in LB.
